This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Since I don't plan on having any sort of a journal here (at least at the moment) I'll put this up to tell you about me (if you're even interested).
I'm an amateur photographer in my senior year of college. My amateur I really do mean amateur. I've always been interested in it but I have not pursued it much yet. I've taken one, count them one, photography class. Thoroughly enjoyable but I show no extraordinary ability. Color photo's are not developed at all by me, as I don't have the means. B&W prints are developed and printed entirely by me in the college dark room.
I am not occupied much with any sort of manipulation, and I honestly don't have the time to put into it.
I'm putting my prints here because many people I've showed them to have said they're decent.
Feel free to comment how you like. Constructive comments are liked more, but I can understand if you want to just put down "you suck." I really would like to think I at least *take* a good picture.
P.S. I pretty much like "unaltered" photography, where, for the most part, the picture and what it captures and how is what's special, rather than what's done to it afterwards. I totally respect the skill it takes to do what others can do with a photo, just not what I'm about.
